Edible Ecosystems Workshop

An introduction to Forest Garden Design

Sunday 5th May 2024 – 9:30am to 1:30pm

This 4-hour session is a crash course on the principles of food forest design. Judy will guide you through the essential topics and help you build a fresh perspective on crafting effective landscapes, large or small. Learn how to craft designs uniquely suited to the conditions at any site and become familiar with the integrated systems of multi-storeyed growing environments.

Welcome!

We’d love you to join our 40+ year journey to support a resilient, healthy community living in a way that regenerates the natural environment; connected to the land, our food and each other.

Kelmarna Community Farm is nestled in the heart of Auckland’s Ponsonby area on 4.5 acres of land leased from the council. The gate to our thriving organic farm is open to the community at all times and we welcome you to come experience, learn and enjoy all we have to offer. From our Farm Shop to monthly workshops, annual events and our many volunteering opportunities — we want to share the joys of our urban oasis with you.

Please book for larger groups, leave pooch at home (we have sheep & chooks!) and
only pick fruit, veg or flowers when you’re with one of our team!

Corporate & Team Experiences

Elevate your team’s experience by stepping out of the office, foraging deeper connections, and immersing yourselves in impactful hands-on activities that make a real difference in the community.
